Financial Accountant Working Capital & Payroll (3-6 month FTC)

The role

We are looking for an experienced part qualified accountant to join our growing team, who has experience with working capital management, payroll and improving processes / set up new processes for reporting packs.

The role will report to the Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:

Month end reporting

  • Building reporting packs for the US and Singapore office
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations for the US & Singapore office
  • Provide support / cover on Omnicom reporting upload

Working capital

  • Managing the daily cashflow forecasting and alerting the FC of any issues
  • Overseeing credit control ensuring that debtors are being paid on time, ensure that issues are escalated to the account teams when necessary
  • Updating weekly debtors reports / ensure that the finance team are updating the debtors notes and following up outstanding debtors
  • Monthly submission of working capital report and assisting with / provide cover on weekly cash collections submissions to Omnicom
  • Supporting Head of Business Affairs in performance bonds as an when needed
  • Review processes / suggest improvements to streamline


  • Review payroll for 5 offices, working with HR and external payroll company to ensure all salary calculations are correct.
  • Responsible for the payroll reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review processes / suggest improvements to streamline


  • Completion of Singapore GST returns & UK VAT returns
  • Support Financial Controller and Head of Commercial on building of Doha reporting
  • Any other ad-hoc reporting requirements

Qualifications and skills

  • Preferably ACCA / ACA / CIMA part qualified or QBE candidates will also be considered with relevant experience
  • Intermediate to advance level in Excel with knowledge of Sum ifs, Macros, V/H lookups and pivot tables
  • International reporting experience is desirable
  • Experience of Sage, Maconomy and Hyperion is desirable
  • Experience of service industry is essential (marketing services is desirable).
